Project 641 is a headquarters for one of the world’s largest video game developers. Over 200,000 m2 of program area are concentrated in the three buildings that comprise the corporate campus (commercial office space, research and design facilities, amenity areas, and event space).
As an intermediate designer, I was part of the project team that developed and helped progress the project documentation from late schematic design to 50% design development. Through the course of the assignment, I managed and produced documentation of core stair and vertical circulation elements, analyzed and designed vehicular entries into the subterranean parking structure, and provided test-fit layouts for office spaces and research & design program areas.
The development of project documentation included reassessment and reevaluation of building FAR, facade strategies, and discrete design elements located throughout the campus.
